Pets are allowed in our Manufactured Home Communities providing they meet the following guidelines established by Minnesota Communities.
DOGS:
*Only (1) dog or cat (no exotic pets) per resident shall be allowed in the park, unless approved by management in writing.
*ALL pets must be confined to the lot (tied, fenced or kenneled) and may not substantially annoy any park resident.
*All pets must be registered with park management. Each pet must be identified by name, present evidence of current rabies and distemper shots, and provide a photograph of your pet for your personal file at the office.
*No vicious breeds are permitted.
*They must be vaccinated and wear collars with ID tags and vaccination tags attached.
*They must be well cared for, healthy, and seen periodically by a veterinarian.
* They must not pose a safety threat to anyone else in the community. While it may be wrong to generalize, certain breeds, such as Pit Bulls, have reputations as being more aggressive and more dangerous than other breeds, particularly to children. The safety of the children in our community is one of our greatest concerns.
* They must not harm the property of other residents or disrupt the peace and quiet of the neighborhood by barking, attracting stray dogs, rummaging through garbage, or creating offensive odors.
* Pet owners are required to clean up their pet’s waste.
* The owner of any dog in our community is responsible for the actions of his/her dog.
* Complaints about dogs should be referred to the community management office.
CATS:
* They must be vaccinated and wear collars with ID tags and vaccination tags attached.
*They must be well cared for, healthy, and seen periodically by a veterinarian.
* Cats owners may not feed stray cats or otherwise encourage them to make the community their home.
* Complaints about cats should be referred to the community management office.
ANIMAL CONTROL:
*From time to time we will trap stray dogs and cats and/or coordinate with animal control the removal of such animals from our community. As we cannot make any guarantees regarding trapping and removal of animals on the property, the best way to ensure your pet isn’t confused with strays is to keep it inside your home.
